I never get sick.  Never.  People all around me can be suffering from some horrible flu du season, and I will at maximum suffer a slight cold.  Nothing a day of NyQuil can't destroy.

Apparently, my luck ran out on me. Bastard, luck.

This weekend I was all super excited that I would be gaining an hour of sleep.  *Yay, sleep!*  I didn't feel so great last week, but it went away really fast (like normal... or so I thought). 

Husband was not feeling well on Saturday and on Sunday he was in the throws of a major cold/flu-ish thingy.  All of the sudden, Sunday night - WHAM!  It just hit me.  Throat?  In pain.  Post-nasal drip? Check.  Head feeling all funny? Yep.  The funny I'm-just-about-to-get-a-cold taste in my mouth? Yes, that too.

Damn sickness!!! 

It turned out I actually needed that extra sleep.  Could have used more, actually.
